On completion students will have the knowledge, skills and capabilities to carry out the required tasks to manage a poultry unit - Broilers, Layers, Turkeys or Ducks. Biosecurity Course for Producers
Biosecurity is a crucial element to protecting our poultry units from diseases, bacteria and viruses. As we have seen in recent years, Avian Influenza has increased in importance as its risk period has been increased.
A half day biosecurity course aimed specifically at poultry units can aid in the design and implantation of a biosecurity plan. This course is 3 hours long and is run on demand at various locations.
