What is the study about?

Very little is known about the gut microbiome of people with Down syndrome.
Areas of Down syndrome that may be particularly affected by the microbiome include:

Digestive sensitivity and bowel disorders.
Ageing ahead of time and ageing-associated disorders, such as dementia.

This study will explore the microbiome of Down Syndrome in relation to these conditions.
